Wheelchair Advice – Do you qualify for a free wheelchair

PRC opened the new aquatic complex in October 2009. A first in North America is the elevator that carries you to the top of the tallest and longest (300ft) waterslide in Victoria. The elevator is but one component in a complete system of accessing the many services and unique experiences that our recreation centre offers. People living with disabilities will find that our facility is, bar none, the very best in British Columbia with regards to the experiences offered and the equipment provided. We pride ourselves on the following features:
•Accessible and Spacious change rooms
•Shower chairs, wheelchairs, mobile beds, slings available to use
•4 overhead Wispa lifts enables easy transfers
•Accessible Sauna and Steam Room, Swirl, Leisure and Lap Pools
•Ramp entry of our warm leisure pool
•Elevator access to water slide (only one in North America)
•Weight room equipped to accommodate people who use Wheelchairs.
