Wheelchair Advice – Do you qualify for a free wheelchair

My grandmother recently fell and broke both her right foot and injured her left knee. Needless to say she cannot walk and will be in a Wheelchair for quite some time. We are looking for a bath seat online that can accomadate her.

Does anyone have one from a certain place? Is there somewhere more obvious to get one? Websites?

All help is appreciated.

When my older mother was alive she broke her shoulder and had troubles with bathtime. My best advice is to call a local home healthcare place locally, they’ll have a few options from just a simple slat she can sit on up to a bath lift seat, depending on her ability and need. I would also check your local newspaper in the classified ads, you’ll often find home healthcare things there. And lastly, if you’re Ebay savvy, there are a lot of options on Ebay to bid on, if you dont mind the wait for the auction and shipping. I added the link to the Ebay items that might help. Also, you might want to consider having handles added to the shower wall so she has something to grab onto if she needs. Hope this helps & good luck!
