my grandmother needs a walking frame and some home adaptations due to poor mobility. how do we get them?
should she go to the GP? what will happen then? will someone come to the home and assess?
I think you go to social services for this help.

Go to her doctor, discuss situation, get prescription for necessary aids such as a walker, go to medical supply store, give them prescription, get walker and whatever else, go home, use it.
